Chatsworth House and Park
Sometimes called "The Palace of the Peaks", Chatsworth House is generally regarded as being one of the finest stately homes in the whole of the United Kingdom. Situated in the 1,000-acre Chatsworth Park, it has been the home of the influential Cavendish family since Tudor times, and the seat of the Duke of Devonshire since 1694.
