Grindsbrook, sometimes called Grinds Brook, is one of the many streams flowing down from the top of the mountain plateau of Kinder Scout. The gully it has created forms one of the main access routes to the top of Kinder Scout and, until it was diverted along a much easier route around the edge of Kinder Scout, was the original first part of the Pennine Way long-distance trail.
