Peak District Towns and Villages
Bakewell
Sometimes called the "Capital of the Peak District", Bakewell is the only town situated actually within the Peak District National Park. An important market town and centre of agriculture, it is most famous as the home of the Bakewell Pudding, and for the annual Bakewell Show.

Litton
Litton is one of the many small villages that can be found within the Peak Distict National Park. Just to the east of the village, at the top end of Cressbrook Dale, stands the rock outcrop of Peter's Stone, so named because some think it bears a resemblance to the dome of St Peter's in Rome.
